Summary: Tripod
Comment: This is a great product. I was introduced to it in rehab, and went searching for one on the Internet. It eliminates a problem with a cane - where do you "park" it when there's nothing to hook it on? It enables the cane to stand alone, is much less obtrusive than the ugly legs on some canes, and actually gives you a spring as you walk. Everyone who sees it thinks it's great.

Summary: Able Tripod Base
Comment: Very useful base or tip for a cane. It keeps your cane upright, and close by. Even canes with brass or metal handles. This is true on hard level surfaces, although it is a bit of a chance on deep or sculptured carpet. The design allows it to flex so it provides more comfort and security on stairs, gravel, grass etc. etc. The base is unobtrusive so it does not get in the way. It also provides a bit more shock cushioning than a normal tip. Be aware that it will add about 1/2 inch to your cane's height and at 8.5 ounces in weight it will add weight to the base of your cane which took me about two days to get comfortable with. Now I don't notice the weight at all. It comes in four sizes, so you can match your cane's diameter to the correct base.
