These walker ski glides are made of high quality resin for the back legs of a wheeled walker. Easily installed in minutes with a Phillips screwdriver - simply remove the existing rubber feet, slide the ski into the walker tube, and tighten two stainless steel screws. Fits outside diamter of 1" or 1 7/8" of any walker.

Summary: Great Skis !
Comment: I'm VERY happy with my Penco walker skis. This is the second set I have purchased, and I specifically wanted these because the first set I had were so good. They glide right along on ANY type of surface - from carpet to sidewalk - and are also quite long lasting. My first set worked well for about fifteen months before I noticed them beginning to wear down. Surprisingly, they don't pick up grit to carry around on the bottom - very strong material. The price is right, and they sure look nicer than those tennis balls (which can get pretty icky)! With wheels on the front and my skis on the back, I can schuss along to anywhere I want to go. I'm a FAN !!

Summary: Gliders do what their name claims
Comment: My 85-year-old mother uses these on her walker. She thinks they're wonderful! People who see her "gliding" along frequently ask about them. They're so much easier than tennis balls yet more stable than wheels. Just right!
