Ease of use makes Pikstik outshine other grabbers available. With its unique pre-locking mechanism, you simply press down on the locking lever before grabbing your item and the jaws stay locked until you release them. This is so much easier then trying to grab and then lock. This reacher also has an easy to use rotating head so you can line up the jaws with the handle, or at a 90 degree angle. With the jaws in line with the handle (up and down) it is easy to reach behind things, like your washer or fridge. Summary: unsatisfactory experience
Comment: I had a most unsatisfactory experience with this manufacturer ordering and delivering the product, and especially their customer service, that offered a refund for a product never delivered only if I would remove my negative review first. When I refused, they never refunded for a product never delivered. I later received an unprofessional, sarcastic email from the company representative, to finalize a most unpleasant experience. I wonder why, when customer reviews are presented here, that mine has been removed. By who?

Comment: Great product! Reliable helpmate in kitchen or garage. Grip and gripper lend themselves to feeling of security for whatever you lift. I will buy several more as they keep disappearing into other family members hands. Much better product than those found at drug stores or on TV. This PikStik is very adaptable to the task at hand.

Comment: They have improved this tool over previous versions, but there's still room for improvement. The grip and trigger are quite a bit better than their earlier models, but after several squeezes of the trigger I found the locking system engages all by itself.

Comment: great reacher, only problem is it has a lock that close the reacher, once you used it, it sort of close halfway and one wants to reach some more stuff, so I have to unlock it again!
